Tac Two celebrates 30 years in business

Not many businesses can say they have been around for a decade, let alone three. Tac Two on Keller Ave. has reached its 30th anniversary and will celebrate this milestone with the community. The Cheers and Beers gathering for the 30th anniversary will be held on Saturday, May 31, all day long. There will be specials on drinks and food, along with a special guest appearance from Dave Curtis himself from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Curtis has been in Amery for so long that some people may have forgotten he is originally from Clayton. His journey to becoming the owner of Tac Two was built on hard work, a dream, and a bit of family support.
Curtis and his family grew up on a small farm in the country. He and his brother often discussed doing something together. Additionally, Curtis wanted to be his own boss; he just wasn’t sure what that would entail.
