Hudson’s Chapter2Books, Ted Blank Luxury team up for literary cruise

Hudson’s Chapter2 Books and Ted Blank Luxury Travel & Adventure partnered to start a two-week Transatlantic journey for literature lovers in St. Croix and Pierce counties that starts in New York November 2027 before setting sail.
Chapter2 Books owner Gillette Kempf and Karla Thoennes, an advisor for Ted Blank Travel, spent the past several months planning the trip. Passengers will explore the rich literary history of New York City, then London and Oxford, England. Onboard, they will attend Cunard’s Literature Festival at Sea.
“This is an opportunity for the local literary community to reach out and make those connections,” Kempf said. “You can make a connection with one of the riders that's on this cruise that can end up being a creative experience, a collaboration or something that feeds your creativity for decades, we just never know how these chance things, and especially if you just put yourself in that place, that for those opportunities to be available to you."
