Meet CODI. The robot has a long flexible arm and eyes on one side to mimick a sonographer while they're operating it. CODI could be in rural clinics in Wisconsin next year to help perform patients' ultrasounds.
TitletownTech and Prevea Health are partnering with Cobionix, a medical robotics company based in Canada, to bring CODI to patients in Wisconsin. CODI is a collaborative medical robot that can perform ultrasounds operated by a sonographer from afar.
Diagnostic medical sonographers, also known as ultrasound techs, at Prevea will use CODI to expand the scope of care around Wisconsin.
