TTM Technologies, a leading manufacturer of technology solutions across the globe, is expanding its footprint in the Chippewa Valley. The company announced its acquisition of the former Hutchinson Technology building, located on the north side of Eau Claire, on Wednesday, July 9.
The 750,000-square-foot facility was previously owned by TDK and housed Hutchinson Technology – which produced disk drive products – and is a prime site for TTM, thanks to its production-focused infrastructure. It will be TTM’s second facility in Wisconsin, joining its longtime Chippewa Falls site (234 Cashman Dr.) which employs hundreds of people.
