A new micro-school opening in Amery
8 May 2025
News
A new opportunity for education is on the horizon for Amery residents and the surrounding areas. Rivers Academy, an independent K-12 micro-school, will open next fall and is now accepting applications for students.
With a goal of having their first class on September 2, they will offer education in a non-traditional, hands-on, project-based curriculum. The class sizes won’t exceed 15 students and will have multi-age classrooms. That is their first goal, but if more families enroll their kids, they will have four classrooms available for a total of 60 kids.
The project-based approach allows children to learn and explore their strengths and interests.
