Gastroenterologist joins MCHS in Eau Claire

Deepti Jacob, M.D., recently joined the Gastroenterology Department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Dr. Jacob completed medical school at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She completed residencies in internal medicine and gastroenterology at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. She completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal motility at Mayo Clinic’s Rochester campus.
Dr. Jacob is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board-eligible in gastroenterology. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada. She is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American Medical Association.
Dr. Jacob’s professional interests include motility, pelvic floor disorders, taking care of patients with a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal illnesses and women’s health.
