Stillwater Bridge Update
14 Aug 2017
The Stillwater Bridge construction is well underway between St. Joseph, WI and Oak Park Heights, MN. Over 350 workers were on the bridge project this summer and two ringer cranes have helped progress to move more quickly.
Once done, around 30,000 vehicles will drive over the bridge every day, relieving existing congestion and making it easy to get back and forth between the two states. This is an important public works project because the bridge will improve the lives of people living in Wisconsin, plus at a $300 million cost, it will provide four years of employment for many area residents.
