Lawyer among Menomonie chamber honorees

MENOMONIE — A Menomonie lawyer will be presented with the Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce’s distinguished citizen award on Feb. 1.
Bill Thedinga will receive the award at the 78th annual chamber banquet in UW-Stout’s Great Hall. The reception and raffle are at 5 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 6:30 p.m.
Sarah Klavas, deputy secretary of tourism, will attend the banquet and comment on the impact of tourism and how it benefits all businesses and community members. She also will share some statewide and county statistics and current trends in tourism.
