The Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA) recently announced that state Sen. Romaine Quinn (R-Birchwood) has been awarded its Champion of Economic Development Award for his leadership during the 2025-26 Wisconsin Legislative Session on legislation designed to boost economic growth. His efforts at the State Capitol will help promote local housing development, strengthen Wisconsin’s workforce, and drive community revitalization across the state.
“WEDA is excited to recognize Sen. Quinn as a Champion of Economic Development. His commitment to critical economic development policy and leadership on legislation to promote housing development and community revitalization in northwest Wisconsin and across the state is laudable,” said Michael Welsh, WEDA vice president of Legislative Affairs. “We appreciate the opportunity to thank him for his efforts at the State Capitol to help advance economic growth in Wisconsin.”
