Eevy Ivy Over’s Whimsical Renovation Grabs Top Honors from Momentum West

Eevy Ivy Over Flowers, Framing and Gifts

21 Aug 2026

Strolling down N. Bridge Street, it’s impossible not to feel a surge of happiness as you peer through the windows of Eevy Ivy Over Flowers, Framing and Gifts

Quirky, punchy floral arrangements popping with color surrounded by a thoughtful curation of unique and one-of-a-kind gifts for everyone on your list are made all the merrier by the shop’s striped, turquoise and green awning and lavender exterior.

“The grant that we received in 2025 expanded the scope of what we were able to preserve and restore on our building and allowed us to do a complete facelift at one time,” said owner Becky Gudis. “Had we not partnered with the WEDC, we wouldn't be as efficient and wouldn't have as beautiful of a building benefitting our downtown. The guidance of Ray French and his ability to listen and understand what we could make come to life was a key to the success of this project.”

Momentum West was delighted to present Eevy Ivy Over with its Top Development / Redevelopment Award during its recent annual meeting.

“This place brings me joy every day,” said Gudis. “I love helping people at their worst and their best times and getting to be a special part of their lives through providing them flowers.”

Beyond Grateful for a Community That Supports Small Businesses

A joint effort by the City of Chippewa, Chippewa Chamber, Security FInancial Bank, WEDC, Federal Bank of Chicago, Chippewa County Housing Authority, and Regional Business Fund ensured full support of what turned out to be a complicated funding plan.

“We were able to obtain $180,000 in grants and other low interest loans. We wouldn't have been able to do this $600,000 project without all of that assistance,” said Gudis.

While she and her team relish the finished renovation project, they’re also swapping ideas about how to continue serving customers with excellence, strengthen their business to business relationships and create more awareness about the shop and what it has to offer.

“Keep an eye out for some pretty great coupons in the Tri-County Advisor in the June issue. We will be starting some new fun programs to connect to other businesses in our downtown!” she said.

That supportive business environment is made all the sweeter by a loyal customer base, one that goes above and beyond to support our local entrepreneurs.

“We are beyond grateful for the way our community supports our small local businesses! It takes a lot of work to stay in business and we are fortunate to have such a flourishing city,” said Gudis. “I am so appreciative of this opportunity to be a part of this community and our downtown Chippewa Falls Community. If you have never been to downtown Chippewa Falls, make it a destination stop. We have vintage stores, great retail and art places, a local store, eateries, a shoe outlet, the best handmade ice cream, the most fun dive bars, and so many places to pamper yourself with facials, getting nails done, hair services, etc.”
