The Creamery at Cedar, a taproom brewery and event space, could be coming to River Falls

The River Falls City Council approved the general development plan for The Creamery at Cedar, a potential brewery, taproom and event center at West Cedar Street and River Street that the owners of The Garage Bikes + Brews nearby want to bring to the city.
Both River Falls natives, Stephanie and Matt Johnson founded The Garage Bikes + Brews in 2019, purchasing the Behrens Motor Supply building along Cedar Street and repurposing it into a multifaceted business selling craft beer and bike gear, while creating a gathering place for the communities that support both. In a story on the business’ five-year anniversary last year, Stephanie told the Star-Observer that they were inspired by a similar concept she saw after hiking in North Carolina.
