Fiddlehead Kitchen will offer fresh, new dining option in St. Croix Falls

News
Fiddlehead Kitchen, owned by co-chefs Sarah Mittelstadt and Marlee Crave, will move from its current location inside Balsam Lake’s The Barred Owl to its own space in St. Croix Falls, with plans to open in July or August. The restaurant plans to bring its focus on farm-to-table food to the community.
Mittelstadt and Crave have been longtime collaborators, working at Farm Table in downtown Amery. When that business closed, they had no plans to step away from their farm-to-table approach. Instead, they opened Fiddlehead Kitchen inside The Barred Owl in Balsam Lake, where they have been operating ever since.
