Stout students showcase a range of work at 2025 STEMM Student Expo

With the end of the college semester near, students at UW-Stout gathered to showcase a little bit of their work they had done over the past several months.
“This is one of the main events that the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Management (STEMM) holds throughout the year to showcase the projects and research that our students do in classes,” said Daniel Freedman, dean of the College of STEMM. “As a polytechnic university, we have a lot of real-world projects happening in courses where students are doing something practical, and this event was developed to really allow them to showcase that to the broader community.”
On Thursday, over 130 different booths with over 300 students presented to peers, faculty and members of the community. Freedman said this includes roughly 10% of all students in the College of STEMM who are finishing up their fall semester this week.
