Amery’s Price is Right seeks to boost area business

Entering its third year after a successful first two, The Price is Right will return to Amery. The first opportunity for people to start earning tickets for their chance to spin the wheel begins on August 8 at 4 p.m. and continues through August 9 at 4 p.m.
During this period, residents of the Amery area are encouraged to shop downtown. For every $20 spent at a local business, the Amery Community Club will distribute tickets to individuals.
Over 30 area businesses will participate in this year’s Price is Right event, offering various ways to take part. Shoppers can collect as many tickets as they earn and bring them to the game show, which starts after 4 p.m. at Michael Park. Registration begins at 4 p.m., and the game will start at 4:30 p.m.
