CEDC Reignites Flame at 2024 Annual Meeting

The Chippewa Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) recently hosted its 29th Annual Meeting at the Eau Claire Event District’s High Country facility in Chippewa Falls, WI. This significant event brought together over 400 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and economic development stakeholders from the region, fostering a spirit of collaboration and forward-thinking.
Themed “Reigniting the Flame,” the packed event focused on revitalizing the community’s economic development efforts in the wake of challenges, such as the recent closure of HSHS. Maureen Carlson, chair of the CEDC, emphasized the importance of unity and shared direction in overcoming these obstacles, stating, “The breakfast was a cornerstone of gathering the business community together to IGNITE the direction the community needs to take together to resume its economic development activities to overcome these recent obstacles.”
