State budget boosts Barron vet lab funding

An additional $5 million for the UW Veterinary Diagnostic Lab in Barron was approved as part of the 2023-2025 biennial budget signed into law by Gov. Tony Evers last week.
That figure is in addition to the $9,555,000 allocated for the lab in the 2021-2023 budget, meaning that $14.5 million is available to expand the Barron lab.
