News, Barron
It took some doing and a lot of preparation, but the Prairie Farm FFA chapter is now in the midst of its first full season using and growing plants in the school greenhouse.
Four years after an anonymous donor provided the materials, the greenhouse is now in full operation, according to Courtney Wolfgram, FFA advisor and ag teacher.
“This is our first year operating it,” she said Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
On Monday, June 12, students Alicia Krusey, greenhouse manager, her sister, Vanessa, and fellow FFA member Kodi Wendt were among those working on vegetable projects and watering plants in the structure.
