Gov. Evers, WEDC Announce $150,000 Grant for Computer Science Education Pilot Program

GREEN BAY — Gov. Tony Evers and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes announced a pilot program that aims to train teachers and bring computer science into all Wisconsin K-12 classrooms is getting a boost from a $150,000 grant from the WEDC.
Gov. Evers and Secretary Hughes made the announcement in the Howard-Suamico School District where students as young as kindergarteners showed off their work learning computer science principles.
