Many of the promotions and resources for local businesses are coming from other businesses and local organizations who want to help however they can.

FREE video to promote your business. 

Dialog Design Co. and AB Videography are giving away free video marketing for businesses in the Chippewa Valley. These video ads can be used to promote a product or service online and help to attract new customers, leading to more booked appointments and foot traffic. The Main Street online initiative can bring in business. 

Businesses can register for free with the Main Street Wisconsin online initiative. Sign up here and register your business to attract new customers. 

FREE consulting and access to loans.

Chapters of the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center are on hand to help businesses to recover faster. By offering free consulting, help securing loans and access to opportunities, the SBDC is a one-stop-shop for business advice and support. Best of all - it’s free. 

Loans, grants and financial support.

Organizations throughout the state are offering loans, grants and financial support to small businesses. For example, Brew City Match offers grants to help pay for rent and payroll. You can view a list here. More grants (like ones offered by Verizon and Sams Club) can be accessed here.

Attend virtual events.

Nonprofits can receive support as well.

Organizations like the Otto Bremer Trust (OBT) are stepping up to support community non-profits. OBT has established a $50 million emergency fund through its Community Benefit Financial Company (CBFC) and organizations are encouraged to apply here for help sustaining operations.
