Momentum West Dinner Celebrated Regional Growth in West Central Wisconsin and Honored Local Award Winners

Eau Claire, Wisconsin – March 26th, 2019 - Momentum West joined together with community leaders and businesses in celebrating West Central Wisconsin at the organizations’ Annual Luncheon on March 20th. At the event, sponsored by Bremer Bank, presentations were made highlighting recent successes in community with the purpose of celebrating the growing regional economy of West Central Wisconsin.  Steve Jahn, Executive Director of Momentum West, said, “Thank you to everyone who attended the event and who helped to celebrate, or make possible, our regional successes.”

More than 125 people attended the Celebrate West Central Wisconsin event, many of which are actively involved in promoting the region, creating jobs through their business activities, and investing in the region’s success through their activities and their dollars.

New this year was the presentation of awards to businesses, projects and leaders, recognizing their significant contributions and impact in our region. Each of the winners has made a significant contribution to the success of West Central Wisconsin. The winners include:

• Talent Initiative(s) – Rice Lake Weighing Systems
• Project/Development - River Prairie Development in Altoona
• Project/Development - DHL/Fleet Farm Distribution Center in Chippewa Falls
• Entrepreneur - Raj and Swati Lall from Vets Plus in Menomonie
• Regional Impact - Phillips Medisize
• Young Professional - Danielle Campeau from the St Croix Business Innovation Center
• Regional Collaboration - Pablo Center

The Celebrate West Central Wisconsin event was made possible by the generous support of local sponsors. Bremer Bank was the presenting sponsor along with Dairyland Power Cooperative, Market & Johnson, Xcel Energy, Ruder Ware, Westconsin Credit Union, and Vets Plus, Inc. who sponsored the event at the gold level.
