Down she goes! Former ALCO building tumbles to make way for Kwik Trip

The sun has set on Amery’s long-vacant ALCO building. Gustafson Excavating out of North Branch, Minn. began demolition on the structure September 5.
The site is being prepared for construction of a new Kwik Trip store, with construction slated to take place throughout 2018. Gustafson contracts with Kwik Trip on many of the company’s projects. They plan to scrap and recylce the majority of the metal in the structure.
