West Wisconsin and the Hudson area is growing, so is the company who supplies much of our energy – Xcel Energy. They needed a new facility to accommodate this growth and have just broken ground on a 27,000-square foot building on Old Highway 35 and Hanley Road.
Wanting to remain in Hudson, their new building will be in the St. Croix Industrial Park which is an ideal location for their crews to reach area residents and businesses quickly. Their growth is good news for the citizens of West Wisconsin because it shows how rapidly the area is growing. As more and more people decide to call Wisconsin their home, Xcel will be prepared to meet those energy demands.
