Jewelry maker joins farmers market

Every Farmers Market, under the trees, you will find a small stand of semi precious stones. Fashioned into bracelets, necklaces and earrings, they are the creations of Hollie Moslet, who is enjoying a second career as an artist with her new business Y.B. Ordinary. 

Moslet’s passion and knowledge about her jewelry shines out in every customer conversation. She sources stones used by ancient Egyptians for cosmetics, Japanese Miyuki glass beads, and Czek Swarovski crystals, “precision cut so you’ll never find a corner that does not match” she explains. 

The folklore and wisdom of these cultures is not lost on Moslet, who can tell you about the healing properties of each stone and how they vibrate at different frequencies. 

“I think there is something in it,” she states. 

Her friend, Debbie Eggers, who has many pieces created by Moslet and keeps her company at her stand adds, “They are very sparkly, and each one is beautiful.”
