Ideadvance Seed Fund awards up to $200,000 to UW Entrepreneurs

The latest Ideadvance Seed Fund grant recipients could improve lives through innovative ideas, such as ways to coordinate medical care for a loved one, prevent co-sleeping infant injuries and deaths, reduce packaging waste and speed molecular analysis experiments. [IDEAVANCE_logo_RGB-2]

Seven University of Wisconsin System faculty, staff and student teams are receiving up to $200,000 in Ideadvance grants from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and the University of Wisconsin-Extension Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC). Five teams are comprised of undergraduate or graduate students from universities across the state. They’re inventing technologies to solve problems faced by researchers, manufacturers, businesses and consumers.
