How do the HSHS/Prevea closures impact local nursing, medical student programs?

Chippewa Valley Technical College nursing student Taylor Stanley said the HSHS closures came as an upsetting surprise to her.
“I was pretty shocked, obviously,” she said. “I didn’t really see it coming, and I don’t think anybody else did.”
It was only back in January of this year that the Hospital Sisters Health System announced that hospitals and clinics in the Chippewa Valley would be closing down.
