First of three Second Street buildings completed

The first of three new buildings is complete, situated at the gateway to downtown Hudson off Interstate 94.

"We tried to retain the historic look to blend with downtown Hudson," said Michael Hoefler of HAF Real Estate & Development, owner and developer of the Hudson Boatworks project. This first of three new buildings is complete and home to HAF Architects, HAF Construction, The Works Design Group and third LoLo American Kitchen. Construction is well underway on the second and third buildings with an estimated completion date of September 2017.

"We anticipated a lot of interest in the development, but are pleasantly surprised to have been near fully leased before construction even began," said Hoefler.

The second building will be home to River Reflections MedSpa and Klass Cosmetics on the street level with two loft-style apartments located on the upper level. The third building will host Kelley Art Gallery, moving from its previous Second Street location. The second level is currently available and HAF is considering several possibilities from build-to-suit to incubator style offices starting at a base rent of $480/month.
