Wisconsin’s economy stands in the best place it’s been since the start of the century, according to a state economic expert who visited Eau Claire on Monday.
John Koskinen, state economist at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, delivered an upbeat message about job, wage and gross domestic product growth for both the state and Eau Claire area to a group of about 250 local business leaders gathered for a luncheon at The Florian Gardens.
“The Wisconsin economy is in the best shape it’s been in the last 15 years,” he said.
