Brewing Projekt deal back on front burner

When the Eau Claire Redevelopment Authority approved a lease agreement and development plan on Oct. 12 to relocate the Brewing Projekt to a new site, the brewery’s owner was overjoyed that the process of moving his business was finally over after nearly a year of discussions.
But, as a frustrated William Glass subsequently learned, that process wasn’t complete. City officials said they want to reconsider who would be responsible for any possible contaminant cleanup at the former industrial building at 1807 N. Oxford Ave. where Glass wants to relocate his brewery.
