Cornell Pulpwood Stacker to be rehabbed

The Cornell Pulpwood Stacker, built in 1912, will undergo work this fall to repair cracked cement and warped beams in the historic structure.

Cornell Mayor Judy Talbot said the city has agreed to spend $23,000 on refurbishing the stacker. The money will come from an account set up with the Community Foundation of Chippewa County and not from tax dollars.
