It’s just 2½ years old but Eau Claire’s branch of Merchants Bank is seeing major growth in loan activity, contributing to what is shaping up to be another record-setting year for the Minnesota-based chain.
The 2728 Mall Drive location of Merchants Bank ended June with $45.2 million in loans — a 231 percent increase over the $13.6 million from the same time in 2015.
