Counties for Economic Development

13 Jun 2016

For years, the government of Wisconsin has been working towards economic development that will lead to a dependable and stable economy for everyone across the state. Multiple non-profit organizations have been funded throughout the years, many of which are still functioning today.

In 1971, the counties of Baron, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Polk, and St. Croix created the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission under the Wisconsin State Statute 66.0309. The organization has worked towards many of the same goals as Momentum West, striving to make these counties a community that is desired by both businesses and workers.

Now, as Momentum West works to create partnerships across the state, the two are working together. For more information on the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, click here: http://wcwrpc.org/
