A Specialized Workforce

Momentum West isn’t only concerned with making sure that local businesses are successful – they’re intent on making communities successful. For many, this means that M West is as much an advocate for the employees of local businesses as they are for the owners. Creating an environment where workers are safe, happy, and making a stable income, are as important as having successful, stable businesses.

           In order to help employees, Momentum West works with multiple colleges, as well as the STEM coalition known as Manufacturing Works, both of which are dedicated to creating a skilled, employable workforce. With 20% of Wisconsin’s labor force being in manufacturing, there are countless jobs in need of a specialized workforce.

           Manufacturing Works (There website found here: http://www.goldcollarcareers.com/) exists to bring future workers into this growing field. Together, Momentum West and Manufacturing Works want to find potential employees a job in a field that works for everyone.
