News, Eau Claire

Sfter six years of dedication to delectable wine, Chad and Jean McIlquham have sold Autumn Harvest Winery and Orchard to Jim and Becky Mullane, owners of Dixon’s Apple Orchard in Cadott. The Mullanes have roots in the apple orchard industry, as Becky Mullane’s grandparents started Dixon’s Apple Orchard in New Mexico in 1944, and it was there that they first began growing their one-of-a-kind Champagne apple – not grown anywhere else in the world.

“Our goal is to provide the same great experiences here with an apple that is the best in the world,” Becky Mullane said. “The Champagne apple!”

The Mullanes also plan to continue providing the same wonderful wines that Autumn Harvest is known for – plus more in the future. The McIlquhams are excited to start a new chapter. Chad McIlquham will be focusing on his career as a pilot and Jean McIlquham hopes to get back to her studies. They also both plan to spend more time with family.
