Manufacturers get sneak peek into future fab lab

Area manufacturers and skilled tradespeople gathered last week at the site of the future Discovery Center Fab Lab and Workforce Development Center for a hard hat luncheon hosted by the Inspire…Building a Center of Discovery fundraising campaign.
Speaker Mark Tyler spoke about fabrication laboratories as a local resource for training the next generation of manufacturers. Tyler is president of OEM Fabricators, Inc., chair of the Governor’s Council on Workforce Investment, president of the Wisconsin Technical College System Board and a regent for the University of Wisconsin.
