ALTOONA, Wis. (WEAU) -- A new form of "reminiscence therapy" is available at a senior living community in Altoona.
The Vintage Room at The Classic is filled with items from the 50s and 60s to trigger old memories.
Organizers went to thrift stores and collected donations, so the room could be set up with old tables and chairs, laundry items, and sewing kits.
It’s especially for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia-related concerns.
