On March 20th We Celebrated West Central Wisconsin and Our Regional Growth

On March 20, 2019, Momentum West joined together with community leaders and businesses in celebrating West Central Wisconsin. At the event, sponsored by Bremer Bank, presentations were made highlighting recent successes in community and economic development with the purpose of celebrating the growing regional economy of West Central Wisconsin.

Thank you to everyone who attended the event and who helped to celebrate, or make possible, our regional successes.

2019 Award Winners Were Announced

New this year was the presentation of awards to businesses, projects and leaders, recognizing their significant contributions and impact in our region:

  • Talent Initiative(s) – Rice Lake Weighing Systems
  • Project/Development - River Prairie Development in Altoona
  • Project/Development - DHL/Fleet Farm Distribution Center in Chippewa Falls
  • Entrepreneur - Raj and Swati Lall from Vets Plus in Menomonie
  • Regional Impact - Phillips-Medisize
  • Young Professional - Danielle Campeau from the St Croix Business Innovation Center
  • Regional Collaboration - Pablo Center

Each of these winners has made a significant contribution to the success of West Central Wisconsin and will continue to make an impact our local communities. We will be publishing articles on each of the award winners, detailing their activities and community impact. Community leaders and local businesses are encouraged to learn from their activities and success.  Incorporation best practices, such as these, can be instrumental in furthering the economic growth of our region.
