A limited number of time slots will be available for one-on-one consultations with Terry after the group presentations to discuss your individual company’s issues in either or both markets.  To request a one-on-one appointment, please contact Stanley Pfrang, WEDC’s Sr. Market Development Director, stanley.pfrang@wedc.org, (608) 210-6777.

Born and educated in London, Terry Potter has spent more than 30 years working with international companies to help them develop their business overseas. As part of the International Business Development Group (IBDG), Terry has worked with a variety of regional and national trade development organizations and supported hundreds of companies in establishing their export business.  In addition to working with Wisconsin companies, she has coordinated international trade development efforts with the Welsh Government, and the states of New York, Virginia, Ohio, and Michigan. Since 2015, she has also been Director of the U.K. office of the Conference of Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers.

IBDG is a specialist business development consulting firm operating in Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.  WEDC has contracted with IBDG to assist Wisconsin exporters to develop and execute market-specific business development strategies.  Services include market assessments; identification of potential agents, distributors, end-users, and other partners; meeting facilitation: and custom projects.  WEDC has negotiated "Wisconsin prices" for state firms seeking to use IBDG services.

WEDC will be leading a global trade venture to France and the UK (June 15-26), with segments in Paris, London and Birmingham.  IBDG staff will be scheduling one-on-one meetings with French and British business contacts based upon the individual business needs of trade venture participants.  More information on the trade venture is available at https://wedc.org/blog/global-trade-venture-france-uk-2019/.
