20 Feb 2019
JOHNSON CREEK — When Adam Seibel stepped to the microphone to accept the 2019 Wisconsin Outstanding Young Farmer award he looked in disbelief.
“I want to thank all of the UW-Extension agents and everyone who has helped us get this far,” said Seibel with his wife, Christina, standing at his side. “This is a great honor for us.”
The award was presented during the 66th annual Outstanding Young Farmer Awards Weekend held at the Comfort Suites in Johnson Creek. The Seibels were selected based on the progress in their agricultural career, soil and water conservation and contributions to community, state and nation.
