THE NANORITE INNOVATION CENTER (Chippewa Valley Technical College)
Developed with entrepreneurial and applied research needs in mind, the NanoRite Innovation Center is an incubation center for advanced manufacturing. Built to accommodate business startups or existing ventures for Nanotechnology, Micro fabrication, and other advanced technologies, the facility is unique to the region including leasable space, specialized equipment, a class 100 cleanroom, and educational partnerships with local Universities. This center is conveniently located on CVTC's Gateway campus in Eau Claire.
MATERIALS SCIENCE CENTER (UW-Eau Claire)
Equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation in the fields of materials characterization, microscopy and elemental analysis, the Materials Science Center helps northwest Wisconsin industries solve problems. It offers surface characterization and elemental analysis for research and development, manufacturing, new product development, quality control and product certification. Faculty researchers use analytical instrumentation and expertise to provide support and consulting that enhances industrial research and development in this part of the state.
TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER INSTITUTE (UW-Stout)
Increasing competitiveness in world markets puts a higher premium than ever on efficiency and innovation. Yet, small businesses often do not have the ability to apply innovative technology at levels competitive with larger corporations or foreign countries. The Institute is part of UW-Stout's College of Technology, Engineering and Management (CTEM), and draws on Stout's impressive technical resources, including the expertise of its faculty, staff and students and its well-equipped and diversified laboratories.
TISSUE & CELLULAR INNOVATION CENTER (UW-River Falls)
The Tissue & Cellular Innovation Center brings academic, industrial and clinical partners together to collaborate on joint areas of interest. These projects focus on bioengineering solutions and applications used to model cellular and tissue responses in-vitro.
CENTRAL WISCONSIN AGRIBUSINESS INNOVATION CENTER (Clark County)
The Central Wisconsin Agribusiness Innovation Center will be a multi-purpose facility designed to foster education, training, research and development in the areas of agribusiness and bioenergy. The building will incorporate large and small group learning environments, public meeting and presentation space. The center will place an emphasis on laboratory facilities and will provide business incubator space for bionenergy and agricultural entrepreneurs.
